Horned Kratom

Horned Kratom

Horned Kratom is a naturally occurring mutation that causes the edge of the leaf to look like it has small horns. This mutation occurs in small groups of kratom trees mainly in small areas of central to eastern Kalimantan. We are presently conducting ongoing research into this type of kratom and are measuring the alkaloid content of a group designated trees to try to determine if indeed there is any difference with this type compared to other strains as it is widely believed that Horned Kratom is a stronger variety and is often compared to Maeng Da although this is not strictly true from our own experience and should definitely not be confused with Maeng Da.
